Smith and Wollensky is an expansive old school wooden steakhouse spread over two floors on the east side of mid-town Manhattan. The establishment gets its distinct feel from the copious amount of wood used throughout the dining rooms to create ambiance. There’s even sawdust on the floors. The wait-staff are tried and true veterans of their trade and the steak is sublime. Prices are adjusted upward to accommodate its mid-town location.
