Shun Lee Palace (Midtown, East) 155 E 55th St. (Btw 3rd Av and Lex.) 212-371-8844 *Reservations required *Multiple Locations Shun Lee Palace is a swank, high end Chinese eatery that serves gourmet Chinese food. No egg rolls served here, at least not the ones you find in your typical in-the-door-out-the-door Chinese eatery. The two best scallops I’ve ever had were at Shun Lee Palace. I first dined here as part of a department wide holiday dinner when I worked on Wall Street. I never had a boss I despised so much. But he did unintentionally inspire me to become my own boss. |
