Giorgio’s of Gramercy 27 E 21 St (Park Ave S and Broadway) (212) 477-0007 *Reservations required Giorgio’s of Gramercy tops my list of fine dining establishments for its combination of divine food, friendly, attentive service, and overall atmosphere and wine selection - which are all topped off by amazingly affordable prices. For the quality, Giorgio’s is a splendid bargain. If I had to pick just one restaurant to dine at for the rest of my life, Giorgio’s would be it. The food at Giorgio’s is perfect. I’ve never known anyone to be less than thrilled with his or her meal. My favorites here include the crab cakes, the succulent tuna entrée and the baked Alaska for dessert. The whipped cream on the Baked Alaska, alone, is worth writing home about. |
