Mexican Radio (SoHo) 19 Cleveland St (South of Spring St) (212) 343-0140 When I’m downtown on the east side and craving a Mexican meal I usually head to Mexican Radio. Borrowing its name from the hit 1980’s song, Mexican Radio serves up large portions of extremely well seasoned and prepared food. There’s something unique about their dishes that I can’t quite put my finger on, but it is something tasty. Their chorizo appetizer is extremely good and flaming hot. There’s considerably more space here than at Ah! Chihuahua but both places are very casual. |
