Whenever I find myself strolling through Brooklyn Heights I always make a point of visiting Sahadi’s. This middle eastern gourmet specialty shop has just about everything that could possibly be imported from the Middle East. I go there for their fresh nuts, sesame sticks and olives. I also tend to look for interesting new ingredients with which to plan a new meal – one that I actually cook myself.
