*Sporadic hours, call before you go I’m not a crunchy kind of health food nut, by any account. However, I would be remiss not to share with you the absolute wonder of this teeny, tiny health food restaurant. I must admit most of the stuff on the menu is not for me. The menu may actually be vegan, but if you’re in the neighborhood and want something different, healthy, filling and delicious, stop in for a Vegetable Patti, that is if Planet One is actually open for business. The place and the owner are quite bohemian. When I asked her what her hours were she told me she pretty much opens when it’s convenient for her. If the stars and my hunger are in alignment I always get a vegetable patty. I usually buy one to eat right away and several to go so I can heat them up at home. They are an absolute treat. I don’t know how she does it. Amazing! The place is so offbeat it’s always under the threat of being closed down. I hope that never happens (but please let me know if it does). |
